This stay, there were some cleanliness issues including a dirty stove top and counter, toothpaste spit on the bathroom mirror and a pile of linens on the floor of the washing machine closet. These issues did not impact our stay greatly because the host has multipurpose cleaner available at the residence that we were able to use to clean the mess and we didn’t use the washer/dryer during...

"We LOVED this cute little house. It was cozy and so close to downtown. It was wonderful. "

If you intend to cook a bunch, you might bring some of your favorite spices, oils, and implements. At the time we were there (September 2024), this nearly new house had just the basics."

"My husband and I have been venturing to Jacksonville for Britt for the last 10+ years. We have enjoyed all of our "homes away from home" in that time, but Ida's Cottage was the most comfortable. Deanna was super responsive when our code would not work on check-in and we are so grateful to her. The home is clean, quiet, well-stocked, and in a perfect location for walking everywhere and biking. We hope to return!"
