"Good location hotel, walkable distance from Ancona old town and lake. Nice pickup and drop of with hotel bus (from and to Locarno train station. Staff was overwhelmed with a series of group booking, confusion was evident but no improvement. My room was a small but with a view, AC not working and none of the staff knew how to fix it. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the lake and pool was a nice setting but staff again overwhelmed with groups."

Was kindly upgraded to a private bathroom too and the 10% discount for the restaurant is a bonus which was excellent food. The woman on reception was very helpful and kind too. No reception so you get an online check-in form the day before but I didn't so I had to ask for it - that was slightly intense. When checking out, you're supposed to pay city tax at the restaurant at the ground floor. In my case, the staff were so busy and I waited for at least 20 minutes to get it sorted. That was the only down side staying at this hotel. "
