"Everything is good, but there were two minor issues I would point out. 1.) Shower door didn't close completely. 2.) They only give one room key, which you need to plug in for lights to operate. So, there is a chance you can walk out and get locked out the door. When I pointed that out, they gave me a sperate card to plug in for the lights and so my door keys were always in my pocket. One thing I should mention more than anything, staff were super friendly and very helpful!"

"Shehan, his wife and young son make Saubagya Inn an excellent choice for a stay at Anuradhapura. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, the bathroom good and the a/c worked well in the hot weather when I stayed. The Guesthouse was about around 40 years ago and with a large, covered veranda makes for very relaxing ‘down time’. Shehan speaks good English and is trained and trains in hospitality. "Spent two nights, 3 days at this property recently while touring around at Pinnawela, Sigiriya, Dambulla and Minneriya. Great location to visit all those sites. Excellent service with a smile. Buffets were plentiful and delicious, great variety. Pool was so relaxing and lush gardens that were well kept really felt like paradise. Disappointed after Covid there is no spa/massage option as that would have been perfect. Stayed in a large room with separate room with door. 2 adults, 3 teens. Teens...

"It started with a bad surprise, for which I would blame Hotels.com as they showed pictures of the Mahoora tents, but booked us in the Big Game tent… a lower standard. Once that issue was cleared, we truely enjoyed our stay… the Mahoora tent is amazing, in a stunning environment. Service is great, candle dinner is amazing… and the safari organization was perfect."
