They were also super flexible when we had to change our plans due to a cancelled ferry and switched our stay from the end of the trip to the beginning, so I give them extra stars for staff and service. "The cabins are nice and have a mini kitchen and a comfortable bed. The area is quiet and the stars are bright. The property is quiet and surrounded by beautiful trees. We were there off season and it was nice to sit on the front porch and listen to the red squirrels chatter and watch the chipmunks. It’s a good stay for 2-3 nights."

"The cottage was an excellent place for our base in the Digby area. Very clean and with a great lay out for 2 couples. The view is amazing and we found it hard to tear ourselves away to visit Digby and Annapolis Royal. Our host greeted us and showed us around the cottage and was able to give us lots of information about the location and surrounding area. The land the lodge and cottages are on was lovely to walk around and there was even a beach area to explore. "

"Perfect place to stay—very comfortable and well-equipped room, with modern shower and kitchenette etc., clean BBQ, and a nice deck with good chairs overlooking the river or to look at the stars at night. Seeing hummingbirds at the plants outside was an unexpected bonus! "
