"The hotel is too old, located in old downtown of Hefei. The air condition was not working, room temperature was hot and not able to cool down. "

"It's nice to be so close to the mountain so you can get it in and out easily. However the staff refused to call a taxi for us to get around town, instead forcing us to call their (unlicensed) friends, who of course charged significantly more. Clearly a racket to take advantage of foreigners and wildly unethical for any paid hotel staff. The manager said he would look into this."

"The rooms are beautifully decorated as compared to the first impression you receive on arriving at the lobby. The lake view facing room is the icing on the cake. Language is a barrier but the staff puts in great efforts to understand the guests requirements. Overall a pleasant stay. "
