「I was staying here as part of a tour, and this was the nicest hotel of my Scotland visit. There is still some construction on the exterior of the building, but the inside is very nice. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. My 1st floor room opened up to a small patio overlooking the parking lot and the loch across the street (it would be nice if there was a semi-sheer curtain so people can't see straight into the room while the curtains are open). 「Beautiful location across from the old harbour. Great for walks in lovely scenery, cycling and beach. Decent restaurant for dinner. A busy Saturday night and a little understaffed. Breakfast was very disorganized despite having to preorder the night before for a set time. Everyone waited for coffee and food (help yourself buffet) also ran out several times. Seems could be easily fixed with some management and planning. Room was very outdated, but comfortable and clean.」

「We have travelled and stayed in too many hotels to count. There have so far been 2 that have stood out in our minds as giving excellent service. The Loch Maree has jumped to number one. Duncan who welcomed us, was fantastic. He surpassed any previous number ones! He could not do enough to help and make sure that we were comfortable and had all that we needed. 「Had a lovely stay at Gairloch Highland Lodge. Received a warm welcome from Michael who allowed us to check in early. View from our room was gorgeous. Overlooked Gairloch Harbour. Will definitely stay there again if we return to Gairloch. 」
