"I first want to say that, overall, this was exactly what wife my and I needed and expected. that being said, this is obviously a 1950's-ish lakeside house. The host has done a lot of good work in doing some updates, but...if you are looking for pure luxury and space...this isn't for you. Then again, if you are renting this for that...you're missing out...because the highlights are the very secluded, private location and the spectacular view. We would definitely stay here again!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful lakefront home in Algoma. The house was clean, well-stocked, and incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived. "It was very spacious. Enough room for 7 adults to interact together or find spots to do our own things. The view from the great room and the balcony above of the water was amazing. "The property was well taken care of with many activities for kids and adults alike. Just a short walk to Lake Michigan and plenty of privacy with the surrounding trees. "Everyone loved our stay! From all the king bedrooms, to all the seating, pool house, game room, theatre room…not a single person was bored! The pool room was nice and warm, pool temp was perfect, kitchen space and dining room had so much room. "Quant, quiet cabins with a bit of nostalgia. Perfect size for our friends getaway weekend , a couples retreat or small family getaway. Very clean and I loved the nostalgia of the inside. Beautiful water view to watch the sunset at night. Just far enough out of town for quietness, but close enough for convenience and other things to do. Host was very nice and informative. "This is an adorable little cabin right on the bay. It’s a rustic small cabin but well appointed with a full kitchen, a screened in porch a fire pit and charcoal grill and a lovely library of books! It was cozy and comfortable. Very clean and tidy. Owner Tammy was very responsive and answered all of our questions. "

"The house with a separate bunk area and game room was perfect for our 16 year son and his friend. When they weren’t hanging out inside, they were kayaking, biking and fishing (all equipment was part of the stay).
