"The people at the front desk were helpful and friendly; check-in was a breeze. I liked that the room I had was a studio apartment. However, the kitchen could be equipped with basic condiments like salt, pepper and cooking oil. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and I slept well. The hotel is a 35-40min walk from the train station, but you could take buses also."

"We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not. "Wir waren mit unseren beiden Kindern , 6+12 für einen 5 tägigen Kurztrip da und hatten von Anfang an sehr viel Spaß. Efteling ist eine Reise wert und das Chalet sehr sauber und sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Umgebung lädt auch zu Ausflügen ein. Minigolfanlage ist in die Jahre gekommen, aber dafür zahlt man ja nichts und den Kindern hat es Spaß gemacht."

"We stayed here for eight days in October with two couples, both 60+. Everything about the villa was as advertised and more. Especially the living and dining rooms are large and comfortable, the grounds are beautifully maintained, the beds very comfortable, all the amenities excellent, and the hosts were always available and kind and helpful. Montfoort is centrally located and it was wonderful after a busy day of sightseeing to come “home” and not have to unpack but just relax. Highly recommended...
