"Ginzling - unlike some of the nearby towns - remains an authentic, likeable and calm village. It's a fabulous base for walking the zillertarel alps. We hired a car but didnt really need it as there are many walk from the door and a regular bus service between mayrhofen and the lake at the very end of the valley. We arrived after dark and even though the residence was not far from the Hotel Mirabell where we picked up the key, the map we were provided with was not helpful with finding the residence. "We flew to Innsbruck then took hire car (prepaid from Sixst) down to Bruneck - a short journey, though very dependent on traffic. The flat itself is very clean modern and comfortable and well equipped. And Andreas and his wife are very polite and obliging. We confirm that her strudel is delicious! "We loved the apartment on the farm. Fresh eggs and milk every day. Peace and quiet. Lots of hiking opportunities around the property. The apartment was clean and the furniture was sufficient.
