"Weekend trip for my wife and I with our adult daughter. House was clean and nicely updated and decorated. Hot water did not last long, so we planned accordingly. Enjoyed long walks through the neighborhood, very interesting architecture. We would stay there again."

"It was great to bring our dog but hard to manage the mud in the yard. Even getting from the car to the house would have been cleaner if the sidewalk was scraped off. We enjoyed walking to shopping, museums, and donuts. We would have been glad for check out instructions. We took out the trash and tidied up, but glad to do more to make things easy on the host if we know what is wanted. It was a good stay but not overly welcoming or communicative. "

"It looked like a fun place to stay for a few days while we celebrated our anniversary and visited the Eisenhower Presidential library and it was more that and more. A very clever renovation, with great touches here and there made it fun and relaxing. The bed was comfy and the living areas were well defined.Highly recommend"

"This property was awesome! Located just outside of town on a beautiful property! The house is clearly very old but completely updated!! There was room for everyone, it was clean and beautiful. Kitchen and bathrooms were very nice. Washer and dryer available as well as a grill and outdoor games. We loved it! Will definitely visit again! "

"The house is huge, as advertised. Plenty of sleeping room and bathrooms. The hot tub was great. The lake was farther than it was advertised.Most of what we needed was stocked. Unfortunately the pool was still closed for the season. I had reached out 4 times before booking to ask about the pool, but didn't get a response. "

"We were in town for a family celebration. The home was spacious, bedrooms were comfortable, and excellent communication with host. There’s lots of room to gather at the outdoor fire pit and indoors around the dining room table and living room sectionals. Sadly, we didn’t have time to enjoy the downstairs movie theater. Close to downtown and airport. We enjoyed our stay there."

"Nice and clean property and the amenities were well thought out. Lots of space and everything is new even though the vibe is “old cabin”. Appreciate the clear instructions from the host. Only negative is the location is immediately off the interstate but once inside it’s not loud. "

"Great spot just down the street from the boat dock. House was clean and worked well for 8 of us. Not sure you could sleep 12 unless you brought air mattresses. Breaker kept blowing in the kitchen, but easy access to flip it back on. Host was wonderful, provided great communication and very flexible. Would Recommend for a fun lake weekend!"

"This was the best stay we have ever had in a vacation rental. The property was clean, better than we imagined, the neighborhood was so quiet, and the host was very thoughtful in all the furnishings and extras in the home (kitchen, bathroom, creature comforts w/ pillows and comfy bedding and throws). The backyard was a gem; I could listen to birds singing from that yard swing forever! We felt very safe in this area and like we were at home. "

"Everything was great—bed was a little soft for me but that is personal preference. There was a bit of outside noise from delivery trucks in the morning, but nothing unexpected. I know it's not anything you can do about the HVAC System, but it was so loud we had to turn up the television in order to hear it!
