The Merch Perch is a beautiful historic home nestled in the heart of North Abilene with charm for days. The inside of the house boasts a newly remodeled kitchen, hardwood floors throughout the common areas, and tasteful southern charm decor.

This home features 3 bedroom and 2 bathrooms. One bedroom and bathroom reside on the main level and the other two are upstairs sharing a Jack & Jill bathroom. Bedrooms contain full sized bed, queen sized beds, and a Cordaroy convertible bean bag bed. Comfortably sleeps 5, but can accommodate more if sofas (4) and queen air mattress (1) are utilized. Guests will have access to the full house and yards.

Entire home and yards
Guests are encouraged to reach out via text with any questions or concerns throughout the duration of their stay.
The home features plentiful parking and is conveniently situated across from one of Abilene’s city bus stops allowing for ease of transportation should guests desire to leave the driving to someone else.
*Check-in is 3:00pm and check out is 10:00am. There is an additional fee for late check out, which is dependent upon length of delayed checkout and effect on cleaners and/or next guest arrival with a minimum fee of $50.
*If you encounter any issues during your stay, please notify us immediately so that we may assist in resolution. We want to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable and can only help that be the case if any unforeseen issues are promptly brought to our attention for resolve.
*We understand that accidents happen, but we ask that you inform us of any breaks or damages that occur prior to your checkout. In the event that the cost of damage repairs exceeds our insurance, guests will be billed for the cost of repairs and/or replacement.
*Parties or events are not permitted without host approval. Guests must request approval in advance for any unregistered guests visiting during daytime hours. The property allows for no more than 50 daytime guests at one time, upon host approval. Please note that there is a $10 fee assessed for any overnight guest beyond the 5th guest.
*This property maintains a no smoking policy. Violation of this house rule will incur a minimum fee of $300, in addition to any cost associated with cleaning the property and preparing it for subsequent guest stay(s).
*Pets are not permitted on the property. Violation of this house rule via evidence of unannounced pets on the property will incur a $300 charge, and guests may be subject to immediate eviction and cancellation of their stay without refund.
*Guests are permitted and encouraged to use whatever dish or cookware is needed throughout their stay, but we ask that you please wash any dirty dishes prior to check-out. Guests may also place them in the dishwasher and simply hit the start the cycle prior to check out.
*Guests are permitted and encouraged to use the outdoor barbeque grill, but are expected to clean the grill prior to checkout. An additional $50 charge will be incur for a barbeque grill left uncleaned.
*The property includes a staircase. Small children should never be permitted on the stairs without accompaniment or supervision of an adult. Parents/guardians are responsible for their child/children's safety while staying at the property.
*The property includes an upstairs balcony, on which guests could suffer injury should they not occupy the space with caution. No children should occupy the balcony without direct parent/guardian supervision.
*For guests that accumulate larger quantities of trash during their stay, there is a large trash can in the alleyway behind the property. Please feel free to dispose of any excess trash by placing it in that trash can.
Upon booking this property, guests acknowledge that failure to follow any of these house rules is a breach of the terms and conditions of your reservation. If anything in the House Rules is unclear, please contact us promptly.
We reserve the right to evict any guest or visitor who fails to adhere to these House Rules.
