"We stayed in the bungalow which was very new and clean. It looks exactly as presented in the pictures. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was decent. The bungalows have their own outdoor hot tub and sauna area which was nice. There are about 12 bungalows total (I think), so it could get crowded in that hot tub and sauna when the hotel is busy given they weren’t very big. It ended up being the perfect location to stop after 1 day travel from Reykjavik and partway around the Snaefellsnes peninsula. "We stayed here for 1 night. We reached a bit after dark and it was our first night in Iceland. The guy at the reception did not understand much English. It was very dark as there is no light pollution. It would have been helpful if he had come with us to show the room, as we had to cross a little bridge after parking our car and we were fumbling in the dark.
