“Staying at the iconic Cliveden house was wonderful and staff & service were fantastic. We enjoyed the spa and swimming in the famous pool BUT we were rather underwhelmed by our dinner. I ordered sole and this was decidedly average especially given the prices. Breakfast was lovely though! ”

“I had a short staycation with my wife and son. Overall, the hotel was nothing short of amazing! We were very well catered for, free valet parking, amazing gluten free food choices - nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was covered in fresh flowers which were amazing. This hotel caters extremely well for children, with its own child's pool and play facilities inside out. Would 100% stay again.”

“A terrible experience. Broken bathroom fixtures, dirty floors, dirty towels, blocked showers/sinks/toilets, slow service, unfriendly staff ( apart from Vic, Charlie and Amelia who, to be fair, were genuine and tried their best). To call this hotel 5-star is frankly fraud. It’s a shabby hotel, rooms and service 2 stars at best. Do not stay here with your family.”

“This is my very first time to take bath in bedroom. It is extremely relaxing. The room is comfy enough for you to feel like home. The breakfast is also very nice with good presentation. Highly recommended for couple!”

“Having stayed in Eton several times, always wanted to stay at Gilbey’s. Stayed in studio suite and it was fabulous. A safe area and close to Windsor Castle, shopping , many pubs and restaurants. Staff was lovely. Will definitely stay there again. ”

“This is a very nice property in a quiet street around 100m from Weybridge’s main shopping and dining area. You are sharing the owners property but in one of three individual rooms. The rooms are well provided for with a small fridge and tea / coffee making facilities. Parking is on road on an adjoining street, subject to availability. We would be more than happy to stay again.”

“We stayed here in the Tudor 4 poster room. While some of the reviews mentioned noise in some of the suites, we only heard guests downstairs when we were in the bathroom and then only in the afternoon. It was quiet in the evening / night. It was a great place to stay after a 5,000 mile trip from the Western US and recover from jet lag before going on to meet friends and family elsewhere in the UK. (It’s about a hour from Heathrow). The ford was good, the beer excellent and the staff friendly and……

“this property is at the foot of windsor castle the apartment is very nice fully equipped seperate bedroom with great views clean and spacious and very good communication with owner windsor is a very pretty compact area so very walkable and many dining options shops and the castle at a few minutes walk”

“The apartment itself was very well appointed and exactly as advertised. The elevator in the building was out of order as such it was quite exhausting carrying all the luggage to the top floor. The parking is convenient but quite tight.”
