The location was perfect; away from the hustle and bustle of Midtown but with fantastic subway links to get you around Manhattan, as well as to and from JFK. It is also a few minutes walk to Pier 11, where you can pick up the East River ferry to Dumbo and Williamsburg, both of which are a must. "I paid for the breakfast. Breakfast buffet was very good. Hotel is very well maintained. I had an issue with the heater in my room. It was fixed promptly. One small issue was that the room service never refilled the body lotion in the bathroom… they replaced the old towels and bedsheet and cleaned the room everyday (I stayed for 3 days)."

"Great hotel especially the jazz bar. It’s a bit noisy in the morning, especially with the Cleaning staff who keep banging on every door so even if they’re not banging on yours it’s quite disturbing. "I keep coming back to 1 Hotel Central Park. It's a beautiful location across the street from the Park and all the best shops such as Louis Vuitton and Bergdorf Goodman. The staff has always been super helpful and polite. Jams restaurant is also great for coffee or any meal of the day."
