"I stay here quite a lot when working in the area. It’s consistently good. Clean, comfortable rooms. The pool/spa is great. Staff very nice. "

"For the price of the property, it was excellent including the use of facilities such as pool, sauna and jacuzzi. The staff made extra mile to give children activities for easter, , treats and tokens too. We also liked that it is a dog friendly, walking distance to Somerset Buffet if you fancy eating out."

"The bedroom, breakfast options and morning staff were excellent. I really wanted to be able to give this property a positive review. However, after the room was cleaned on the second night, our bedroom door was left open and consequently not secure. There was no additional security between the bar and the bedroom so anybody could have just walked in. What made this worse was the attitude of the gentleman behind the bar who I spoke to about this. He was very dismissive and didn’t seem to think...

"We stayed at the Old Vicarage for one night on our way down from Cheshire to visit family in Cornwall. We had a double room for my husband and I and our daughters shared a twin room with our dog. The service was impeccable throughout and our dog, Harvey, was treated like a VIP! Our wonderful breakfast was served by Daniel, who was friendly and professional. We chatted with the owners while checking out and it was clear that they pride themselves on the great team they have assembled to run this...
