"We would have rated this as excellent except the air conditioning had not yet been turned on this week and the room was extremely hot and uncomfortable. There were a couple of other issues regarding the lack of handrails on steps and in bath but otherwise this was a beautiful hotel with a great location, wonderful staff and a beautiful roof terrace with pool and bar. "

However if you are a light sleeper this hotel is not for you, I could hear the rooftop bar above and also bells going off all night. The pool was closed which was annoying as it was very hot, apparently it doesn’t open till May but no mention of that when booked, may have thought twice as it was not cheap. "
