"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The fittings and decor are a bit dated but the bed was really comfortable and the linen and towels were lovely. I would suggest getting a room nearer the back of the hotel, we were on the front and it was rather noisy from the pub next door. Although the parking may seem a little complicated it's good value for being in the town and we extended the next morning at a better rate than if we had moved it. "Nice place to stay here if visiting Shrewsbury area. Food good at Breakfast, although became nervous when waitress was leaning across you to serve orange juice, this could have been avoided with small decanted bottles put on tables to use if required. Breakfast not a relaxing experience when the waitress who was very friendly was rushing around puffing and panting as she passed very close to our table repeatedly as we were next to the kitchen entrance.
