"This hotel was absolutely wonderful. The location was perfect - located almost directly on the canal, minutes walk from the castle and the bridges. We were so impressed by the helpfulness of the staff. The breakfast was great, even though options for vegans were limited. One of the staff did offer us additional avocado or asked if there was anything else we’d like. I just thought that was really thoughtful. The coffee was beautiful. Our room was perfect for us- the bathroom lovely and the bed...

"Made a last minute reservation for New Year’s Eve. Didn’t expect that there was a NY city style NYE celebration (but, more peaceful & more enjoyable) a few steps from the hotel. Excellent hotel! "

"This was a very nice one-night stay, clean and enjoyable with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The breakfast was enjoyable as well. The breakfast area is also open in the evening for coffee, hot chocolate and cookies, which is a pleasant touch. Parking is about a five-minute walk and shopping and dining are right around the corner."

"Wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of old town with a multitude of shops, sights and dining options within steps. Bit of a walk with luggage from where the car drop off is however the benefit is that the area is essentially a pedestrian only zone which is wonderful when out and about both day and night. "

"Adjacent a main highway, but the traffic noise wasn't bothersome for us, though it might have been if you wanted to leave a window open. The breakfast area seemed a little too small for the number of guests, and in particular the coffee machine was a real choke point. Great location for exploring. We found delicious kebab at the beer fountain park in Zalec and toured a very nicely restored castle in Celje. "

"Checked in a little earlier and the lady at the desk was extremely helpful and flexible. Breakfast ends at around noon and check out time can be extended if needed. Breakfast was amazing and extra points for them being so flexible. The room was clean, comfortable and big! Would come back again."
