"We enjoyed our stay at Ona Valle Romano. There are a number of self catering apartments with reception and 2 restaurants. We were very happy with our apartment which had a good balcony overlooking the golf course. We did not have any meals but breakfast and evening meals are provided. The WiFi worked well, although there was only one channel on the TV in English. Good hot water. There is free parking outside the accommodation, only problem is later in the evening it is difficult to find a spot."

They have an additional building that does not offer views of the gorge, I was in one of those with a terrace and it was lovely. Spectacular sunrise view! The location is tricky - just outside the Sotogrande gated community with a busy main road to walk down to get to pathways - it is however possible! Taxis are ready and waiting at the hotel but you pay 30euros return for a trip to the port. Hotel is definitely worth a stay and especially if you hire a car! "
