"Such a unique hotel in the old Faculty of Sciences building for Zoology and Geology. We had a comfort room which had a gorgeous free-standing bath in the room itself and a powerful shower and separate basin area (this is glass screened and so you should be comfortable with your room buddy!) There's lovely little nods to its history with animals on the curtains and different flora / fauna on the tiling. Separate bathroom. The spa on the basement level has a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna which...

"Great hotel. Modern, clean, quiet, well-furnished, secure; friendly staff; proper breakfast (including hot options like bacon, egg and sausage for the Anglo-Saxons). It's right next to the station, which is usually a reason to avoid any hotel, but in Bordeaux the area isn't so bad. Also they give you a (glass) bottle of water when you check in to cut down on plastic and there is a decent restaurant linked to it, though it looks like they could do with a few more staff. I'll definitely stay here...

"What a wonderful hotel. The exterior walls are original but everything inside is apparently new from 2020. So, you get modern electrical, plumbing, HVAC. The floors don’t squeak, the furniture is new but with old world charm. The perfect combination. The staff was friendly and adept at speaking English. The restaurant food was delicious and reasonably priced. "

"Wonderful property. Very pleasant setting. Only 20 minutes from there center of Bordeaux. HOWEVER, do NOT try to drive to Bordeaux from this hotel. It took me more than one hour because of the horrible traffic, the oneway streets, the street closures, etc.. even with Gps.Likewise for returning to the hotel from the city center"

"C’était top ! Le personnel est sympathique. Du haut de notre cabane nous avions la vue sur le parc. C’est très calme. Le bassin est super. le bar/restauration est sympa. Le petit dej était royal. Nous recommandons et reviendrons avec plaisir ! "
