"It was old but when you book a castle of age that’s what you expect we enjoyed our visit."

"The only problem was an unpleasant smell from the drains in the room when we arrived. Didn't notice afterwards. The hotel was super overall and the staff helpful and charming. Location fabulous. Food excellent. "

"One reason we booked was the availability of a lift. However, it only serves the 1st and 2nd floors. We were given a room on the third. Luckily a room was still available on the 2nd floor. This aside, the room was good and the dining options acceptable. "

"We had a lovely time and the spa was excellent, everywhere is very clean and the staff are all lovely, unfortunately the room was very noisy, i think we were above the kitchen so you could hear the deliveries being emptied etc. Would stay again but would definitely request a room somewhere different in the hotel. "High standrs of cleanliness in room and ensuite bathroom, both spacious with ample storage for a week long stay if desired. Perfectly cooked to order steak, sides and fresh crisp salad with decent wine list. Dinner and breakfast taken on light covered terrace with great views of the bay, prom, pier and Great Orme. Excellent attentive service."
