However, all the scuff marks and dirty rugs in the rooms bring everything down a notch. The room itself is always pretty clean. "First time staying any Sonesta hotel and we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade at check in. Our room (suite king bed) was quite nice for the price, with a comfortable bed, nice shower, well working heat/ac, and a mini fridge + microwave. It was also quiet, though I'm not sure if that was due to not being crowded or genuinely quiet - either way, we appreciated it. All staff we met were superb - friendly and knowledgeable. We never used the pool, TV, or WiFi, so can't comment there, but...
