"Great value! The Golden Garden Hotel aspires to deliver 5 star accommodations at 3 or 4 star price. By far the nicest hotel room our family enjoyed during our trip. The location is reason alone to pick GGH. Walking distance to mass transit, night market and other fun parts of Taipei. There is an excellent restaurant choices on the same street including breakfast spot on the same side of the street a half block down. "

"Staff was excellent. Free laundry was very convenient for our longer stay, although the machines were a bit slow. No facecloths provided, just hand towels and bath towels. No heating in room, though this is probably only a problem in the few cold months. We managed (with the advice of the staff) by turning off the fan and reducing the amount of time the window was open. The rooms and facilities were very clean and well-maintained.
