"The reason I didn't give the Miami International Hotel an excellent rating is that at 8:30 that night the emergency alarm went off and we had to exit the building...down the stairs. We followed the instructions of the broadcast and proceeded down 5 flights of stairs only to find out there was no emergency, the front desk staff knew nothing about the alarm, the elevators were working, so that's why I only gave it a good rating."

"The staff are very friendly. They are happy doing their work. The rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable. Shower is big. We have stayed numerous times and have always been very well received and happy with the hotel and restaurant and pool."

"Our room smelled like Marijuana the whole time. Every time I opened the fridge it stunk..Otherwise the pool was a bit small and cold but it was beautiful. Right on the beach and within waking distance to stores restaurants etc."

"Good affordable hotel in nice location near bayside marketplace and bayfront park. Read the fine print about the WiFi being an EXTRA CHARGE per day when you get there. Elevators are slow. Otherwise very nice stay!"

"This is a cute hotel in a great, walkable area. It’s tucked away from the street, so it’s quiet at night. We enjoyed our stay here"

"Location was just perfect- walkable all around the city, close to grocery store and public transit. Cons: 1. Loud at night which takes some adjusting- you’re right off a main road and have to adjust to hearing constant honking and noise as you sleep. 2. If anything is wrong with your room (like our shower handle which wasn’t regulating temperature), nobody will come help- we called the front desk and a young gentleman laughed at us and hung up (never sending anyone up so we did our best to...
