"If you decide to stay at Sansuiso, you have made the right decision. This is a beautiful onsen, with a variety of different type of waters, pools on the edge of the river. We stayed in the Japanese room which is always spacious and comfortable. Do yourself a favour and do the half board (or dinner) it will be one of the best meals you may have ever eaten. The staff is so friendly and helpful. "

"Incredible experience at Suzukiya Ryokan! Staff is incredible! They speak some English and you can communicate perfectly fine with all of them. They are so incredibly kind and welcoming! "About 10-15 minutes from Iizaka Onsen station. The hotel is situated uphill & is a traditional construction w/spacious parking area. Check-in is easy & short, & staff is friendly & polite. Our room has mountain view & can hear water running downstream when window open. Quite serene! Our meal plan included breakfast & dinner (half board).
