"We stayed in the main building in a charming room with a four-poster and a gas fireplace. It was wonderfully quaint and convenient to the Main Street of Bar Harbor. The accommodations for outdoor entertainment and music, served by a bar did not intrude, since they shut down by bedtime. We found the shower to be difficult to adjust to a stable temperature, so we took baths, instead. The water pressure was excellent, so the bath filled rapidly."
