"Still feeling the effects, after Hurricane Helena, the hotel was doing well to adjust, to business, with the still imposed "Water restriction" and "Displaced local families". All the staff members displayed very positive attitudes and were always helpful. The breakfast staff was very friendly and sociable. When asked about they were doing, they would share, all the while still trying to be positive and very professional."

"Breakfast buffet was very good. Appreciated having a small sofa in our room. One small issue was the sliding door to bathroom, when slid open, went over the electric switch. Bumped and needed to push out on the door to get it open. Really appreciated that we arrived the night before hurricane Helene hit the area, with a booked two night stay, and there was zero hassle cancelling the 2nd night so we could leave the area. Much appreciated! "

"On a business trip for 2 might. Went on HOTELS.COM and this HOLIDAY INN & SUITES was ranked as WONDERFUL. And Wonderful it was. Friendly Professional Staff. Told the desk clerk I was alone and they put me on the top floor in a quiet room. I believe the entire facility was quiet. Clean as if it was new and a very inviting lobby, bar and eating area. "

"We were visiting and ended up getting stranded due to Hurricane Helene. There were two young boy and a bartender that were at the property and stayed the entire time to help guests. They were all fantastic. The GM showed up and started asking us to evacuate....not sure were he wanted us to go but he did not want us there.
