The staff were always friendly and helpful, and even called before we arrived to let us know our room was upgraded due to discrepancies between the booking site I used and the rooms available. This when I didn't even realize there was a problem! Parking was easy and the hotel felt accessible yet secure. The location is excellent, within walking distance...

"It's a beautiful property; it's old school motor lodge style with drive up/park and your door is right there to the outside. This is not a problem but just more FYI if you are booking. Room is cozy and not large but very comfy, a touch dated but again that's more FYI if you are needing that kind of room. 10/10 would recommend. The staff was so nice, very informative and helpful. "

"The place was lovely and every member of the staff was processional and helpful. I arrived late and the keys were left inside the box. The security guy came out right away when I called. The only problem was the noise from the upper floor Thank you for such a pleasant stay."

"Just the perfect getaway. The staff was exceptional. Our dinner at the restaurant was delicious and service was above expectations. The only reason I gave the grounds a 4 was it was only 5 weeks after the hurricane and they were doing some remodeling but I lay no blame on the resort. The road to the resort was under repair but they are doing a great job of cleaning up and getting back to business. I highly recommend. "

"This was a stay "back in time". Most importantly, it was clean and quiet. Our grandparents had homes like our room and we are now grandparents, so it was awhile ago. So, it was very nostalgic for us, but we felt unsafe in the bathroom. The shower curtains were in the bottom of the tub and would have been easy to trip up on. There was only one outlet for us to re-charge our electronics on. The lighting was very poor. We somewhat enjoyed our stay because of the nostalgic factor, but really...
