"We stayed at Villa del sol for 3 nights and it was a wonderful experience. It is a relaxing oasis outside of the main city of Máncora. It remains walkable, but the area is under development so having a little flashlight was useful at night. The room we had was charming and really romantic. All amenities were available, there was a minibar and snacks if needed. The included breakfasts were very good. "This place has a lot of potential but it's lacking in many areas. I give it 2.5 out 5 stars but with some easy fixes it could be 4 or 5 star stay. The property is beautiful with flowers, trees, grass and cacti, the view is great overlooking the sea and pool, the service provided by the family that lives on site is great, nice breakfast, but overall comfort is lacking. Old, tacoed mattresses. Unbearable heat at night which could be fixed with mosquito nets or mosquito screeen doors. There is a...

"The beach is just across the road. The place is very cute and aesthetic, a lot of beautiful vegetation and good looking pool. The staff is super friendly and the food was great. "

"Very comfortable beds, clean. I have no complaints, poor wifi and breakfast was weak but we had no problem with it. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and nice balcony, very friendly helpful staff. There is a restaurant just beside the hotel,El Mirado, to the left if you have your back to the ocean which is worth checking out, have to walk up a hill, well worth the walk. Not a lot of stir, bring a book."
