"The cheapest hotel on our travel, but etc easily matches 5x more expensive hotels in Kyoto. +Very cheap +Clean +Location + Cheap laundry - noise when window open"

"Stayed very busy days. Close to Niigata train station but there’s a pedestrian bridge in between. "

"Great location. Older style hotel and our initial room was very poor and we were moved to an excellent room because the air conditioning didn’t work in the first one. The second room had excellent beds, aircon and space. The staff service was impeccable, particularly Miss Watanabe as she helped us with many things like booking restaurants and finding a good Onsen. The breakfast staff were also wonderful as were the cleaning staff and others at reception. The hotel is old but obviously some rooms...

"We had 2 rooms. Both non smoking but one of the rooms absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke. Unfortunately it was the room assigned to me and I suffer from asthma so I had a very difficult time breathing and sleeping was limited. Our other room had our children and it was not feasible to swap rooms. I do not know if we would consider going to siunroute again as it is very hot and miss with the rooms."
