"The room was very clean, and had all that’s needed. The AC was very good which is so important if you are visiting in summer months. The staff is very responsive and accommodated a late check in. The beds and pillows were the best out the entire stay in Italy for this price, the bathroom is a bit small but very clean and has all that’s needed. I would stay here again! "

"A good hotel on a budget. Well served with public transport, the bus stops right outside the door. The room is comfortable, but not luxurious, and has the amenities one needs. The lighting in the room was also quite low, and the two bedside lights didn't seem to have any switches to turn them on. The breakfast was okay, not the best I've had, mostly dominated by cakes and pies, and the coffee didn't taste great, but the croissants were good."

"Great stay! Regina’s location is fabulous. You walk to the centro storico and the stazione centrale in minutes and there are endless food options all around. Staff were very friendly, breakfast adequate and rooms clean and very functional. I plan to return!"

"DO NOT BOOK this hotel if you intend to use public transport. There are vast amounts of roadworks in the area surrounding the hotel. The nearest bus stop is 20 minutes walk away (and we walk quite quickly!) The walk walk wasn't safe either, as we had to walk on the road in part. Also, on return at night we had to walk on a long path, through a dimly iit park. On check in, the receptionist flippantly advised that we should use taxis (we didnt budget for this added expense!) "Great hotel in very good location. Rooms are a bit funky but are well equipped and extremely clean. My room actually was on two levels. The entry level had a wardrobe and the bathroom then there was a stair up to the bedroom. Breakfast was great. I will stay again. "

"Hotel is a good option for easy access to central Bologna. Rooms are clean and adequate. The bathrooms are some of the smallest we’ve ever had in Europe. I mean tiny. There is NO elevator. Staff is helpful but not that friendly. Area around hotel is walkable to do many restaurants and bars - location is great! "

"The buon hotel is a funny one as there isn’t a permanent receptionist so feels a bit half hotel half Airbnb. Paolo was helpful and responsive. Location is about 15-30’ walk from main train station but very close to the main square and sights. Area felt safe."
