"I was initially going to cancel because there was a flood warning for the Ohio River that blew up in the days leading to my visit. I called Harrah's three times in the days leading up to the visit and they confirmed they were open and no concerns. Upon arrival, I was told they were closing the property at 5pm the next day so we needed to leave promptly with no extensions. The casino itself does not open until 8am on Sundays and is generally very small."

"I booked another room just to get a little downtime to myself. I had planned to check out the hotel’s bistro and a few other places near by. Once I had a long shower and sat on that luxurious king bed, I was out like a light. 12 restful hours. Guess I really needed that down time!"
