"The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially Som Moniroth. The hotel provided a free taxi service into town which was excellent and super convenient to get a Tuk Tuk back. It was very quiet and relaxing. The only downside was there was no spa despite Expedia advertising there was; staff at Expedia were helpful with resolving this. "

"This is an adequate hotel but its on the wrong side of town. The walk to the riverside is down a busy road with occasion dogs roaming about. You can get a grab which is probably the best option . Probably not worth the money. Breakfast is poor "

"We stayed just one night while passing through Kompot/Kep. The reception staff were warm and attentive. Our room was tidy and well-maintained. We enjoyed dinner at the hotel, which was reasonably priced and delicious. We also took advantage of their laundry service, which was affordable, and our clothes were returned neatly folded before our early morning checkout. "A nice, clean hotel with pool. Only issue was poor wifi but this seems to be an area issue as many other places in Kampot weren't much better. Staff are excellent and helpful, always with a smile. A short walk to to many bars, restaurants and the river where most of the action is. 10 minute walk to the night market. "

"The staff at The Columns are extremely nice and helpful. The included breakfast has many nice options and is well-prepared. We had both a double room on the first floor and a balcony room on second floor in our party, and we much preferred the first floor. It’s more spacious, better laid out, and has high ceilings. The second floor is not great for tall people because there are so many low ceilings, and the rooms feel cramped. "
