"The hotel service was good. The room was clean and the breakfast buffet was okay (just okay). I really liked the availability of bicycle rentals. My only real complaints (but impacted my comfort significantly) was absence of a lockbox in my room and the super uncomfortable pillow. On my double wide size bed was a single tiny pillow that was more like a small sandbag than a pillow. It was too hard and small making it very difficult to sleep with. "Free breakfast was provided, with available amenities. The room was clean and the staff was friendly, we chose this hotel since it's close to the ferry port where you can book a tour to see the Yaeyama Islands or catch a ferry to the other islands. The only thing is that the bed was rock hard (I don't mind it but it was difficult for my husband). Otherwise, everything was great!"

"The hotel is perfectly situated for ferry day trips, to make use of the airport limousine bus (non stop bus to and from the airport), and to explore the nightlife and restaurants in the evening. The bus lines meet at the bus terminal which is also in easy walking distance from the hotel. The room was spacious for Japan and the balcony was a nice extension to the room space. Breakfast was bountiful and well worth including in your stay. For me it was exactly what I needed in order to be explore...

"Its a little secluded hotel with 10 rooms tucked in the hills of Ishigaki. The staff were great and check in was easy. The animals on site were cute, but the parrot's day cage is too small. The room was huge and had great amenities if you wanted to cook a small meal. The balcony was large and had a view of the ocean. We'll definitely stay here again."

"Spacious rooms, well equipped, though the rest of the hotel is bereft of any amenities, but never mind. We learned to appreciate the place. A bit remote for those without a car, but we managed to enjoy with the help of the bus timetable. Very friendly small team of staff who try their best to make up for shortcomings of the place. Breakfast was charged as an extra, but it was nice and worth it. As said, the room is vast and comfy and there's a little pantry in it, but we wish the little backyard...
