"It is is a nice property, with spacious rooms and minimalist style. The Japanese breakfast is delicious and service is good. However some of the things that were unexpected are the following: you are unable to wear shoes (only socks throughout the hotel so if another guest spills something on the floor (which is what happened) it can be unpleasant. I appreciate the need to conserve on water but it is difficult to use a sink that is motion activated to wash your face and rinse, and with only cold...

"Always an amazing stay at a quintessential Japanese ryokan. Amazing service by a friendly staff. The hot springs bath is so relaxing. "

"The staff speak English or Mandarin hence communication was a breeze for me. They were very friendly, helpful and polite. The location of the ryokan is within walking distance to the town and close to the train station. Hotel provides a bus shuttle to the train station. From the train station to the hotel, there is also a complimentary ride. I had a very pleasant stay at the ryokan and highly recommend it. "
