"Nice property. Close to activities. The river view was beautiful. The hotel was nice for the price. The bar and restaurant were amazing. Some highway sounds when sitting on balcony, the AC drowned it out when in the room. Overall, we’d stay there again. "

"These comments are elaborating on the questions asked above. The hotel grounds are amazing and so scenic. And very well kept up, considering the age. We had a great time walking around the grounds in the morning. Since a question asks this, the location is a bit isolated from other services, but that was not an issue for us. Re: staff. We had to wait for staff a couple of times - for the front desk at check-in, and we waited quite a while for staff to appear at the restaurant, both in the...

"Interesting experience. There is no on-site staff, but the building is in excellent (restored) condition. You let yourself in with the door code and then you’re on your own. The on-site restaurant is not operating, so we drove a couple miles for dinner. We made breakfast from what was on site. Thankfully there was no noise from the railroad outside. We’ll be back."
