"This was a wonderful place to stay on our first visit ever to Salzburg. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The little artificial artful stream running down in front of the entrance was fun. It's in a limited traffic area, so the taxi guy had a remote that lowered the barrier so he could drive us right to the door. There are some great restaurants at very reasonable prices in easy walking distance, and shops too, though very touristy shops and expensive, but we didn't come to buy...

"Good, safe, and convenient location with easy access to public transportation (bus stop) just a minute away by walk. We took the Salzburg card and rode around (mostly lines 1 and 8). We drove from Munich and needed to park our car. They have parking right outside the hotel but the spots could get filled up quickly. The other option is to park in the garage which isn't free. The room was clean and spacious with modern amenities and we were well-rested after a full day of sightseeing. Not the best...

"The room was clean & tidy but quite basic. Hotel was well located just a 10 minute walk from main tourist spots. Hotel was very reasonably priced and check-in staff were helpful. "One of the most pleasant hotel experiences I've had in a while. There's two parking spots directly in front of the hotel to park while checking in. The host gave us clear direction for where to park after checking in, and he was so funny and so kind. We really enjoyed our check in conversation he was a joy to meet. The room was very clean and the view over the river was beautiful. The restaurant and roof top bar is the best place to enjoy a drink or meal. Highly recommend!"

"A perfectly maintained and charming hotel with genuinely friendly staff, a good breakfast, and excellent location just blocks from Mirabel Gardens and the Old City. The hotel suffers from one defect only, but it was a big one for me: the bar next door. This is the only reason I have not otherwise awarded 5 stars here.
