"Maryann’s is cozy, quiet, and heartwarming oasis in a desert of corporate modern hotels bleached of all feeling. It is a very walkable distance to the city center but far enough away to shake off the town when you want to. Having lunch and dinner as an available option on site is convenient but we very much enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Everything was so fresh and made with obvious love of serving. I would definitely return here. "

"I have mixed feelings about this hotel. We had to leave earlier than expected due to my father's health. The staff was friendly. The room was manageable. The Orbitz description of the property was not accurate. The hotel does not provide a kitchen area to guests. the room to the kitchen had a sign that said, "Staff only". Staff included anyone who worked in Batesburg--except the tourists. I was told I could use the kitchen facilities, but the "staff" were very territorial, so it became a...
