Sahara Desert 2 Stars Hotels

"Pretty typically hostel. Nice staff. It’s all outdoors, on a rooftop, so not sure how comfortable that would be in the summer. WiFi was decent. They had staff continually cleaning the bathrooms and showers. Room was fine, nothing spectacular, or horrible. Really close to the Egyptian museum, not far from a subway stop. Lots of restaurant options within walking distance, even a couple of bars and drinkies next door (one of the few places to purchase alcohol). "

"This hotel was a bit misleading in the photos online. We chose it more for location which was perfect. The area is safe and walkable with many dining options nearby. My only complaint about this hotel is that we had an early flight and got no sleep because the smoke detector flashes a bright light in your face all night and then every time the AC turned on and off there was a large grinding in the pipes. The sleep was so bad it was disappointing for the cost of this hotel. Some great things is...
