"Beautiful hotel friendly and helpful staff in a superb location "

"Very friendly and helpful, location is great to walk or see the area. Easy to book tours. Amenities in the room were thin. There was a water kettle but it had to be moved to a different location in the room to plug in. No tea or cups. Shower was a bit messy with no curtain to contain it. Manager was welcoming and speaks multiple languages. "

"We had a good stay. The location is pretty central and walkable to areas with plenty of restaurants and activities. Straight walk up to the castle area to catch the sunset view. Hotel staff isn't onsite 24hours, but the key allows access after hours. Breakfast didn't offer hot pastries, which was disappointing but we had just stayed in Athens prior so perhaps our expectations were high. We thought the AC didn't work, but after consulting the staff we figured how to operate it. Nice patio...

"Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Pool area was comfortable. Rooms are a bit outdated but netflix on tv is great.the view from our balcony was lovely. The hotel is built from lower ground to high ground so if you have any difficulties walking make sure you get a room on the lower level. Walk into lakka is about 10 mins from the beach front. The staff from nepal are amazing. "

"Great basic hotel close to the airport. We stayed here for 1 night as we did last year also when our flight home was cancelled. It’s located right in the heart of Gouvia so perfect to explore the beach and marina. The rooms are very very basic, no tea/coffee facilities but you do have a fridge. The A/C is an extra €6 per day and a 3rd bed in the room is an extra €30. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We would defo absolutely return due to its location. "

"5 stars! The Elea Mare is a fabulous value in an authentic Greek coastal village, run by a host (Greg) who personifies customer care. We can’t praise him enough for the warmth of his interactions with us! As an example, our young-adult daughter became mildly sick during our stay, and Greg provided tea and offered to check up on her when we left her in the hotel by herself for half a day. The hotel is a short walk from a small beach and town harbor and near several excellent dining options....
