"I found unless I drank heavily before bed time that it was not enough padding to sleep well. I'm a side sleeper and if you are as well then you know we don't distribute our weight as well as back sleepers so need more cushion. Most nights I went out drinking for amazing karaoke so I slept solid (highly recommend Bar K-Station a short walk from here and they were super welcoming to foreigners). The instructions on classifying the rubbish is very clear and can definitely be understood by tourists who don’t read Japanese. The staff can speak in both Japanese and English. "Overall, not a bad experience. A good deal for how affordable it was. It’s dated, but clean. There is a smoky smell, as others have mentioned, but not terrible, unless you’re particularly sensitive. I had to leave early due to a storm, so didn’t actually sleep here, but accommodations looked fine. Pretty spacious for a typical capsule style. It was definitely warm, though. "

"Very cool hostel! Has a chic coffee shop and clothing shop downstairs, host was extremely nice and made sure that people were comfortable, right next to Keisei Takasago station for easy commute. I had a great time talking and hanging out with host and fellow hostelmates, will be coming back!"

"It is a perfect stay if you are budget minded. There is a lawson and matsuya next to the hostel as well as the hostel being a cafe itself. If you want to go to shimokitazawa or shinjuku you can take yoyogi hachiman which is close by. The beds are comfortable, have two power outlets, and storage for 2 medium sized luggage. The staff clean and mop the floor everyday around 12pm"

"It's a great place to rest, fast internet, free breakfast, a fridge where you can put your stuff, a bath where you can soak and relax. The area is surrounded by restaurants and shops. Overall it's a great place to relax."

"Very helpful and friendly staff. The outside seating areas smelled of cigarettes and the room smelled of dryer sheets or something. They had a very nice laundry machine and commercial dryer, but it was outside and didn't have a combination lock. A little bit of a walk to the train station but not bad and lots happening in terms of interesting shops along the walk. Lots of nice restaurants and shops near the place too.
