“We came for the natural swimming pool and hot tub and it did not disappoint! The hosts Brendan and Edwina were just amazing and welcoming. We were greeted and given the tour of the home, settled in and spent three amazing days by the pool relaxing in the sun. The pool is just incredible as is the entire property. We could have really done so much while there but opted for relaxation and lazing around. We had my Daughter in-laws two dogs with us, they just lived the property and were absolutely……

“We loved the house, but noticed in other reviews just minor things that could be better including sliding door is very hard to close and lock. Dog hair on outdoor furniture. Backyard garden was very overgrown and in need of maintenance. We had to duck under small trees to walk on the path and the grass needed whipper snippering. The master bed was incredibly comfortable but the leather fabric was flaking on the bed and it’s well passed it’s used by date. ”

“This is a really spacious house in a central location in Marysville. We were two families and fitted in easily. The house is across the road from the skate park and BMX jumps and a short walk to a little playground, and less than 10 minutes walk to the adventure playground. The house is not fenced but the balcony is fenced on the front side, so you have a short amount of time to catch small children making a dash for the road (better than if it was straight out a door onto the road). “I took my elderly mother for a little getaway for 2 nights. 2 family members joined us for 1 night. Enough room to sleep on the couch for 1 night. It would be great to have the little cottage out in the garden as an extra bedroom (hopefully this is a plan for the future). Little bit of painting needed in the bathroom to touch up, but otherwise very neat and tidy. Steps are needed to be negotiated at the entrance and outside so need to be aware when taking elderly folk here. Loved the comfy……

“The Fig House was very comfortable and included everything we needed. It was a short walk from the main street of Yea. We had a most enjoyable time there.”

“House was great with plenty of space for 5 of us. Beautiful surrounds with bonus of little creek down the bottom of the yard- my 12 y old even caught a couple of fish from it! ”

“Stayed there because our daughter was getting married in a Yarra Valley vineyard. Close to Healsville. Very quiet location. House compact. New bathrooms, very clean. Great shops in Healsville. Abundant bird life. Lovely trees, especially the maple & rhododendrons. Underfloor heating was great, as it was very cold at night & mornings. ”

“The photos are not reflective of the property. It was notionally clean until you look a bit closer…the beds looked like someone slept in them already, furniture was damaged, there’s no table tennis table, the outdoor furniture was filthy, the pool had glass on the paving around it. It was gross. We stayed one night until we could find another place (as Stayz never contacted me to find an alternative place). ”
