“We have stayed here multiple times and always enjoyed it. It is secluded enough that you feel totally removed from the bustle of daily life, yet close enough to Baraboo and Devil's's Lake to have access to good restaurants, shopping and outdoor activities. The kitchen is well stocked, linens and towels provided, as well as wifi, TV and even some DVDs if you want to relax with a movie. We always feel very at home here and if you want to "get away from it all" this cabin fits the bill.”

“I loved the vibe of this house. So much character and nicely updated. We loved walking to the ferry, the ice cream stand, and taking a ride across the lake. It was the perfect stay for our weekend trip to Baraboo and Devil’s Lake. ”

“Perfect home base for a two-family vacay. Four teenage boys and two moms and we never felt crowded. Easy drive to the Dells, Devil’s Lake, and Baraboo. Beautiful views of Lake WI from the deck and a quick walk to fishing at Memorial park and ice cream at the ferry crossing. The house was very clean, stocked with basics, and communication with the owner was so easy. Highly recommend!”

“We can into Briggsville from all over the Midwest for few days of fun and relaxation. The Bent Beam BARn was simply AWESOME!! We enjoyed games in the big yard, sat around the campfire every night. We cooked out on the grill that was provided. The lower level game room is fantastic! It layout of the Barn is well planned out with plenty of room for everyone. You can tell Matt and crew spent a lot of time make this place a destination. ALL THUMBS UP!! Check it out.”

We hiked nearby and happened upon the outdoor market in Baraboo. Saturday night dinner at Fish Tales just down the road was excellent. Highly recommended, will be back next year!”

“We were in town for a national shooting event in Lodi, and this nice little house was just 15 minutes from the range. Air conditioning works great downstairs where there is one bedroom. The other 3 bedrooms are upstairs. A little warmer up there, but it cooled off at night enough to make sleeping comfortable. Stocked with Keurig coffee was a really nice touch. Used the charcoal BBQ to grill steaks and burgers also. Thank you!”
