“I grew up in an old farmhouse and this reminded me so much of that time. Wood floors with rugs and vhs tapes! The trails were fun to walk along and see the Fox river and have kids run out some energy. Then settle in for a night of games in the basement. Quite a unique stay and glad we found it for a relaxing new year stay while skiing at Cascade.”

“You could not imagine a more perfect location to stay. The privacy, views of the lake and the well appointed home were all provided the perfect makings for a glorious vacation. ”

“Fourteen of us came from out of town for an extended family Christmas in Lodi. The space was perfect for us all. Our 6 grandkids enjoyed spending time together over the weekend in their "community bedroom" and all adults had their own private space. We had plenty of space to spend time together in the living room, dining room, and kitchen. Everything was clean and cozy. Christmas decor was a nice touch! House was perfect!!”

“We stayed here 12 years ago. Not much has changed. Oven needs to be replaced. If we were to come again I think my camping furniture would be more comfortable than the couch. Maybe time for some updates. Great view. Bird watching was excellent and the little Christmas tree was a nice addition. ”

“We wanted to just get away for a day at nearby Devil's Lake State Park on Thanksgiving Day and this little cottage provided a cozy warm alternative to camping. We had our large hound dog along with us but we all had space. Arrived to the sound of Sandhill Cranes nearby and the Parfrey's Glen unit of the state park was a short walk down the road. The only thing we would recommend is to bring your own microwave safe bowls. Thanks for a warm night!”

“My college friends and I had the most lovely time at this cozy cabin! Everything was as mentioned in the description, the lake and views were stunning. We hiked nearby and happened upon the outdoor market in Baraboo. Saturday night dinner at Fish Tales just down the road was excellent. Highly recommended, will be back next year!”

“It's a beautiful, clean rental. We had family the area and the ferry made it very convenient to join in the fun. We will definitely be back for next year's event”

“We can into Briggsville from all over the Midwest for few days of fun and relaxation. The Bent Beam BARn was simply AWESOME!! We enjoyed games in the big yard, sat around the campfire every night. We cooked out on the grill that was provided. The lower level game room is fantastic! It layout of the Barn is well planned out with plenty of room for everyone. You can tell Matt and crew spent a lot of time make this place a destination. ALL THUMBS UP!! Check it out.”
