“This was a cozy place to spend Thanksgiving weekend after visiting family in Rockford. I was craving the crackle and pop of a wood burning fireplace and arrived with plenty of firewood. The fireplace is GAS which was a surprise. Besides that minor let down it was a comfortable weekend and the river is beautiful. Great shower, good kitchen. It was frigid during our stay so we didn't get to take of advantage of the parks in the area, but there are plenty of options for outdoor activities nearby.……

“Very nice and well stocked home with a huge yard to enjoy with our dog and appreciate nature. We saw deer several times each day along with all sorts of birds and other wildlife. Convenient location in town as well. ”
