“Liked: parking, quiet, staff very friendly, massage treatments very good, rooms decent size, swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna and dinning options
Disliked: hotel in general a bit dated, rooms and bathrooms need attention, swimming pool tiles need attention as several missing tiles”
“Currently a new housing estate been built around the hotel not sure if this will change the hotels appeal
Staff we particulary helpful when I had misplaced my cloths after using the swimming facilities. Well done to the front desk for reviewing the camara footage to identify the root cause !!!”
“Need to walk up staircase to rooms on first or second floor, clean and tidy, well maintained. Double glazed window keeps out noise. Good value for price.”
“We had the most wonderful stay at this boutique hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and we had a lovely room - Masefield, which had a large sitting area, a patio and a large bathroom. Will certainly return.”
“Nervous to visit after reading reviews. However, there is a lot of refurbishment going on. The downstairs looks fabulous and the car park/outside space is being worked on. The room was ropey, window held open with a block of wood and a pane of glass missing. Curtains not hanging correctly and a socket out. But, we arrived when they were busy and so checking in was delayed. The staff apologised for wait, and the room! The breakfast was absolutely banging and the staff were exceptional. Helpful……
“I think a lot of people has reviewed on this. But I can only said air conditioning system issue need to be fix. Otherwise it is hard for other customer wants to stay.
It is summer time and the air conditioning system not work. All you got is a fan will only have little help. Can you imagine stay in the room with 27C? And there is not compensation. Charging almost 100 pound per night, and it is the sleep environment we got.”
