“Great place to stay. Host was discreet and communicated well providing good directions to the property with photos. Parking was off street and while the area to park in was steep it was easily accessible. When leaving there is good visibility in both directions even though the road can be busy. House was clean and tidy with a well equipped kitchen. Living areas are comfortable and the recliners were well used!! Bathroom was well equipped with plenty of hot water. Bedrooms both had double beds……

“We enjoyed our stay very much. We do have one critisism however regarding the lack of curtains or blinds on the windows. It was mentioned by a previous guest but as it was a long time ago I thought it might have been addressed. Unfortunately not. The result was that there was no privacy in the kitchen and lounge which was off putting.”

“We will definitely be staying here again. The location is breathtakingly perfect and relaxing. The property has absolutely everything you could think off, is spotlessly clean and well maintained. All the furniture inside and outside was very comfortable. The only thing which would make the property an 11/10 would be a little plunge pool to cool off in otherwise we could not fault anything about the property. Loved it so much and we will definitely be booking it every year.”

“A small space but had everything we needed for a week stay during renovations”

“Nice property that has a great view of the lake, big folding back doors opens the dining, kitchen and lounge area to uninterrupted views of the lake. House was clean and very nice deck to entertain and relax watching the water.”

“We had 4 adults and 2 small children. The house was good for us all. Lovely bright kitchen/dining/lounge area with beautiful view to beach. Great location for everything. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. ”

“Three generations of our family enjoyed a pleasant and relaxing stay. The home was clean and the beds were comfy. Our toddler loved the shaded garden and secure fencing ensured he was safe from the lake and the road.”

“We were a family of 6 celebrating a birthday. The house was as described and worked well for our group. The closeness of the beach and walking distance to Shellharbour were big pluses.”

“Overall, the property is in an amazing location. Right next to the University of Wollongong and the Botanic Gardens and only a short ride (bus or car) to the CBD. The house itself has many good and bad qualities.
