It was easy to get around town with our rental car or Uber. The hosts were great and easy to connect with as needed. This was one of the key highlights of our two weeks in the UK. “Thoroughly enjoyed our 6-night stay. Cottage was modern yet charming, decorated very well throughout and with a well-equipped kitchen - the welcome carrot cake was a lovely touch! The main cottage was very warm and cosy to wake up to in the mornings, and the wood available for the sitting room burner at a reasonable charge was very much appreciated for those November evenings. “It was such fun to stay at the Gatehouse! There was plenty of room for my family of 5. The neighborhood was quiet with stores within 5-10 minutes of driving. We were 10 minutes from Windsor castle and 15 minutes from the train we took into London. Leslie was WONDERFUL!!! It was so fun to meet her. My daughter says to tell everyone that the dog and chickens are sweet. :)”

“Our family were attending a wedding nearby. The house was exactly as described. Rooms were great. Very comfy beds! There was 1 bathroom upstairs with a shower, bath and toilet and 1 toilet downstairs. The lounge had plenty of sofa space. Also a lovely big kitchen. We were able to use the garden furniture on the sun trap patio. Shopping parade was a 5-10 minute drive away. Everyone loved their stay at the property and we would thoroughly recommend a group of 6-8 people having a stay here.”
