“We are four adult sisters, 60+. The cabin was comfortable, had everything we needed for a good stay. It’s located right on the water and so convenient to all the sightseeing we wanted to do. I would highly recommend as our stay far exceeded our expectations. ”

“Roxie was a cozy tiny cabin! It was absolutely perfect for the one night passing through with the dog. My only regret was not having more time to make it a longer stay. The cabin has everything you need for a stay! The wood stove did a great job heating it, and it stayed pretty warm all night. GPS took me right there, no issue finding the road. And while no WiFi, cell service was fine and could stream playoff baseball before bed. Would 10/10 stay again and for longer if back in the area! ”

“We enjoyed our stay here very much. Loved how we could easily walk to Boothbay. Access to the kayaks was a huge plus too. If there was one bit of advice I could offer, it would be to reduce the amount of furniture in the cabin. I believe there were 15 chairs within.”

“It was nice to have a place to gather instead of spending the money for a hotel, but it wasn't as comfortable. I understand that you don't want to ruin furniture when you are renting out to people, because you just never know, but there really wasn't any comfortable seating in the den and everything is so low. “Place was great. Lots of privacy! It was so quiet especially at night as we had cocktails on the deck. Made our 38th anniversary special. Did some fun stuff.Lands End store at end of Bailey Island and beach. Cooks lobster House. Cabot Antique mall and flea market in Brunswick. Had the best blueberry pancakes we ever had at the Kopper Kettle. Popham Beach topped everything off! talked with David at the end of the trip and hope to rent from him again! ”

“Interesting old cabin in a pretty location. The kitchen was well supplied with all cooking items we needed. Furnace worked great, and the fireplace was very nice as well. Plenty of space. Only downside was the first night was breezy and one bedroom had some gaps in the walls where the chinking had fallen out--a wee bit drafty. All in all, a fun place though.”

“GORGEOUS house and view! Very spacious and accommodating. Things you should know before booking is that it is about an hour away from anything and everything. House could use some more TV's if you're going with children, pinball machines did not work and neither did "workout equipment" which was an elliptical and treadmill. One of the showers did not work and some of the fans that were provided did not either. I think its a tad over priced for its distance to do things but the views from……
