“I would give them 10 stars if I could! We come to tybee a couple times a year and this is my favorite stay so far. The hosts are amazing and the communication is great. “My son and I stayed at the Blue Dolphin house while attending weekend wedding festivities with family. We had planned on a larger group but the hurricane and other circumstances changed who was able to travel. I let Patty know and she was responsive and kind regarding our change in circumstance. The cottage was perfect! It had everything we needed for a stress free stay. We would definitely stay here again and I would recommend it to others. “We absolutely loved our stay, even though we were here during Hurricane Debby! The house is beachfront and the beach was so nice and quiet. A true retreat away from the crowds. “House needs work as noted by previous reviewers. We had,however, a 5 star experience. The view and the proximity to a virtually private beach was wonderful. We loved Dausfkie(our first time there). Tooling around in our golf cart and discovering hidden gems. The laid back vibe was just what we wanted. Residents are super friendly. I hope they do renovate the house. It deserves it. Great floor plan and lots of sunlight.”

“We had a great time in this darling beach cottage. It is in the historic Fort Screven area of Tybee and just about a 3 minute walk to the Gulick Street beach access. This is my third trip to Tybee Island and I enjoyed this house the best. The house was SPOTLESS!! It is also the best stocked of ANY vacation rental I have stayed in any where. There were no problems with the house so the only time I had to talk with the owners was to tell them it was still standing after Hurricane Helene……

“I cannot imagine a better place to stay! It is so quiet and peaceful. The bird watching was amazing and we loved the easy proximity to the beach/swimming - esp. via our very own golf cart!! ;) The record player was a great personal touch and don’t even get me started on the outside shower (a dream!!!) “This cottage was adorable! It was clearly marked, within walking distance to beach, and couple of restaurants. Things to know: internet can be spotty at times, driveway is gravel and there a couple of stairs. Not a big deal unless you have mobility issues. It was perfect for my husband and I. I could not imagine having more than 2-3 people in this space. There is no dishwasher so you need to bring paper plates or wash your dishes. I would totally stay here again. Very quiet neighborhood.”
