The hotel was nice and the manager was very nice and helpful. The room was a little tight, but was fine for 1 night. From reviews I thought the breakfast was going to awesome, but it was just average - the muffins were uncooked on the inside... The noise from all the cars hot-rodding down main street was really awful - we were unclear why the police allow such noise and racing down main street :-(

I stay here every year for 10 years. I got such a small room it was hard to move around in. Chair in room had seat cushion broken called for replacement. Noe not replacing. For the money $400 a night ill find a new hotel next year

Beautiful, classic hotel, Art Deco style, and very well kept. Historic preservation plus modern upkeep. Right in the middle of walkable area, highly recommend.

It was nice to stay in a hotel that’s been operated since 1912, so there’s a historical component to it. Looks newly remodeled, and it’s nicely decorated. If you get one of the front rooms (facing Main St), it’s super noisy. The windows are thin or something. It was like I was camping on the sidewalk. Kids racing up and down the street until 12:30 on a Sunday night. Front desk said they’re cracking down on that (for Friday nights), but kids moved their fun to Sundays now, it seems. Quiet in the morning though.

Nice grand hotel. Staff is very nice. Only issue involves the road in front of the hotel. Motorcycles and loud pickup trucks have decided that this is their spot to make noise in the evening. I understand Friday nights are the worst. Wed was not much better. Town council will not deal with it. Because of the noise, I probably would not stay again.

The hotel is nicely restored. The breakfast was ok, our room was very small, it was our last night in town and we wanted repack our things and we could barely fit our 3 suitcases and out selves in the room to rest-pack. The toilet did not flush well. But the stay was ok.

Absolutely beautiful reno downstairs. So lovely to see an old hotel continue operations. Nice touches in lobby such as homemade cookies, popcorn, breakfast the next morning. Enjoyed chatting with night clerk. Very personable and discussed history and renovations. Rooms are very good just not renovated like downstairs. Reno is ongoing as new windows arrived as we checked in.

Everything is old in this place. Cracks in the walls. Peeling paint. Extremely noisy windows! It ruins the stay. And then it more expensive than all of the other nearby hotels which have significantly better amenities! Would definitely NOT recommend!
